Clarissa Hulse is one of the leading lights of the British textile world, uncompromising in her passion to deliver the ultimate combination of colour, print and fabrics. She produces beautiful and luxurious home accessories, wallpapers and fabrics, selling in both top notch department stores such as Heals, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Liberty, and Selfridges and across the world in exclusive boutiques. She was born in Prague, and was lucky to live in many countries whilst growing up – including Thailand, Spain, Italy and Greece. This eclectic background has had a huge influence on her approach to colour and design. She graduated in textiles from Brighton Art College in the 1990s and moved to London to work as a freelance textile designer before starting up her own studio with her successful scarf business. This evolved into designs for home accessories and for the last 10 years she has been building up this business to be one of the most successful and respected textile brands in the UK. She lives in north London with her husband and two children.
